Following the path of its predecessors, in The Room Three you've been lured to a remote island and are forced to navigate a series of devious trials designed by 'The Craftsman'.Despite its 'pick up and play' label, it's not the type of game you can put down without a little internal fight. Its puzzles are aggravatingly addictive, fun, surprisingly challenging, and are all contained in a gorgeously designed package. It even got Pocket Gamer's prestigious Gold Award in its review.Head over to Google Play to grab the game for £1.89/$1.99 (originally £3.99/$4.99) and get solving. There's been another leak in the pipe as what looks like a piece of marketing artwork for the Nintendo/Ubisoft mashup, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle has arrived online.Heavily rumoured since last year, we first came to understand that the odd mixture was still happening in early May. Though Nintendo still hasn't officially announced the game, the image above has given us a little more to think about.Mainly one of the Rabbids wearing Princess Peach's dress, not ignoring a Rabbid Luigi...That sounds weirder out-loud.Nintendo World Report has a larger selection of images and information gathered from an unnamed source. From the looks of it (and if it turns out to be valid), there's going to be a ton of weapons-based combat and eight playable characters - four Rabbid, four Mario.Apparently the RPG will be playable in cooperative two-player as well, and will hopefully be coming out in late summer. There'll likely be a full announcement at E3 next month.Source: Comicbook.com

MMA Manager is for those who like the idea of fighting for sport but don't want to get their own face bruised and cut (and who does, really?).It places you in the position of a gym manager who must build up a team of fighters to vie for the position of MMA champion. You'll train them up from dominating the local scene and, hopefully, all the way up to the big commercial events.Doing this involves recruiting the fighters and coaches, upgrading your gym and its equipment, and generally keeping your fighters happy. The latter involves being a little more hands-on. You might have to deal with "issues like missing weight, injuries, and PEDs."Other times, you might stand in the corner of the ring during a fight and give your guy a pep talk.
"You needn't fear that, Leslie."
Zombie Football is a tricky runner that challenges you to tactically dodge and escape a variety of vicious undead. You play as an American football player, who, for reasons not immediately clear, is attempting to score touchdowns in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. Each level is its own little puzzle, with powerups, speed ramps, and obstacles dotted around for you to take advantage of. The difficulty comes from making smart use of your limited stamina.Get hit by a zombie or take too long traversing the course and your energy will drop. This results in your speed decreasing and likelihood of being eating going through the roof.Things can get pretty intense in no time flat, so it's imperative that you're able to deal with incoming zombies smoothly and effectively. That said, you'll typically use your first few runs on each level to learn the environment and work out how exactly you're going to get through it. You can also slow down if you need a breather, but I wouldn't advise remaining idle for long.

Less than a day after the Nintendo Direct trolling, Kotaku UK suggests that we could be getting a teeny Direct sometime today complete with the announcement of Dark Souls on the Switch. While fans have been clambering for news and begging Bandai Namco to bring Dark Souls to the Switch pretty much since the console proved its worth, there's one major question that remains to be answered: is it really a good idea?By that I don't mean it wouldn't be fantastic to have the game on the go. As proved with games such as Stardew Valley, one of the Switch's major benefits is that you can close the console down without having to exit your game, then start it up where you left off. Sheer luxury for such a challenging game without a pause button. No, my main concern is the frustration factor. When faced with harder elements of gaming there are two types of gamers: the insulters and the destroyers. I, myself, am an insulter. I'll breathe through every curse word and childish insult I can possibly think of at the time to make myself feel better in times of fury. The destroyers, however, are the gamers that squeeze controllers, bash keyboards, throw phones across the room, or lash out. Considering the Switch's teeny Joy-Cons and glorious, portable nature, I'd be surprised if there weren't a few incidents waiting to happen. What do you guys think? If this rumour proves true today, would you want Dark Souls on the Switch? Let us know in the comments below.

If you've been inconvenienced by Boob in Sonic Runners then don't worry - Sega is on the case.Yes, this a real story, I promise.Turns out that "Halloween Special Stage" in Sonic Runners has a very unfortunate typo. Instead of the ghost being called "Boo" it is currently named "Boob."As great as this is, Sega is being spoil sports and changing it to Boo shortly. Why do you have to ruin the fun Sega? We like Boob the Ghost. If you want to witness this for yourself then you'll want to download Sonic Runners on the App Store or Google Play and play that stage to meet Boob while you still can.Image from BlueParadox via Lynsey Graham
Rogue Depths is a new rogue-lite dungeon crawler from solo developer Glitched Studios who made the game as a passion project in their spare time. It is available now for Android with an iOS version a possibility if the game does well. The concept of Rogue Depths is fairly straightforward, you'll battle your way through increasingly difficult dungeons with tougher enemies appearing the further you manage to go without dying. Along the way you'll level up your character to become more powerful to better deal with the stronger foes you'll face.At the end of each dungeon, you'll have the opportunity to learn new skills and abilities or upgrade your current batch. In terms of skills, this could be an increase to health regeneration, movement speed and a host of other similar stat buffs. Abilities meanwhile, could include firing a constant beam of energy or summoning a clone to fight alongside you. There are over 80 different skills and abilities to uncover so you'll be able to tinker with them to find a build that works for you. There are also 12 classes to unlock on top of that, which you can switch between after completing a dungeon, with each having their stats and bonus skills. Three of these are available from the start of the game with the remaining 9 being unlocked through in-game currency."Oh, she was tired--and you know she likes to go to the shore after one of Dick's bad days."
Premium shoot-em-up are not rare on iOS but it can be hard sometimes to know which ones are really great.Crescent Moon surprised us with Operation Dracula last year and we liked it so much we gave it our Gold Award.Several changes have arrived in the latest update to Pokemon Masters. On top of new Bingo Mission content, there are also several quality of life changes to the game as well that should hopefully make for a smoother, more enjoyable experience. The Bingo Missions are the main part of this update though, so we'll start there. This new feature will task players with filling in set and weekly bingo cards. The former has four tiers that will reward players with various upgrade items and Gems for completing rows, diagonals and blackouts. Each individual square will also give you some rewards too, so there's plenty of goodies on offer. You'll have to complete various tasks in order to claim each square on the board. For instance, you might be tasked with completing certain missions a set number of times. Alternatively, some of these missions are Sync Pair specific such as unlocking Barry & Piplup's level cap twice or teaching moves to certain Pokemon. If you've played the game a fair amount, you'll probably find you've already completed most of these missions. The Weekly Mission Bingo's work similarly, except that you'll only have seven days to complete them, obviously. Here you'll be able to select from three tiers of difficulty and within those tiers, there will also be three boards to choose from, with different rewards available for each.Elsewhere they've made some changes that will improve the play speed of co-op battles, which is incredibly welcome since they used to move at a glacial pace. Additionally, they've also made changes so that loading screens are quicker and your battery shouldn't be drained as quickly.Supercourses have been changed from having 3 replays down to 1. However, to compensate for this the number of rewards given on completion have been tripled, so you'll be earning the same loot for less effort. Finally, Super Hard missions have been added to Main Story Co-op battles.Pokemon Masters is available now on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.Vote for YOUR Game of the Year in the Pocket Gamer People's Choice Award 2020
